Jury rules in favor of B. Braun’s US subsidiaries 

Since early November, a trial has been ongoing against certain subsidiaries of B. Braun in the USA. The case involved the allegation that ethylene oxide emissions from our sterilization process at our device manufacturing plant in Allentown, PA (USA) have caused personal injuries.

Today the jury ruled in favor of B. Braun’s US subsidiaries and rejected all of the plaintiff’s claims.

The jury’s decision is consistent with the scientific evidence that our ethylene oxide sterilization process is safe and that B. Braun’s Allentown facility complied continuously with all regulatory requirements. This demonstrates our commitment to creating a safe environment for our employees and the communities where we operate.
