The first Fleet Management container program is implemented in the United States at Glens Falls Hospital in Hudson Falls, NY.
The vision was to get Glens Falls containerized with new Aesculap sterile containers with the goal of reducing blue wrap usage. With the Fleet Management program, the Glens Falls Hospital was provided with 570 brand new Aesculap containers including implementation and technical service for a fixed monthly fee.
Today over 90% of the hospital´s sets are containerized, reducing OR delays from holes in wraps as well as decreasing their spend in blue wrap.
